|   | Financial Service Officer | |   | Neighbors Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Service Officer to interview and counsel members regarding account and loan services. Researches, analyzes, and reviews loan applications for the benefit of the members as well as the credit union. Disburses approved loans. Assists members in setting up new accounts and in making changes to existing accounts. Cross-sells credit union services to all members. Handles member complaints and helps solve problem accounts. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years experience in a credit union or other financial institution with a strong emphasis on lending. | |   | Part Time Teller | |   | Neighbors FCU seeks Part time Tellers to provide a variety of service functions directly to the members in person or by mail. Processes deposits, transfers, withdrawals, loan payments, Visa cash advances, money orders, certified and travelers checks. Responsible for balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals. Maintains a working knowledge of credit union products and services. $11.17/ hour.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: must be available to work Monday-Friday 12:30PM - close and Saturdays 9AM-Noon at any one of our 7 branch locations. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree or some college coursework completed preferred.
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of cash handling experience required; at least three years prior experience in a financial institution preferred.
SKILLS: Must have demonstrated experience with the following skills: consistent accuracy with cash handling; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong sales and service attitude; the ability to adapt well to a fast- paced and changing environment; an outgoing, friendly personality; ability to work well on a team or alone; excellent customer service skills.

| |   | Senior Collector | |   | Neighbors FCU seeks a Senior Collector to ensure effective collection efforts for the organization. Pursues direct telephone contact to delinquent members. Ensures that the "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act" is adhered to as it relates to delinquent member accounts. Must also possess strong communication skills, attend to details and make accurate and timely decisions when collecting the accounts. Maintains a working knowledge of all services and operations of the credit union. Complete all required credit union educational courses. Support a sales and service culture.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years financial institution and collection experience with loans and credit cards. Prior Credit Union experience is highly desirable. Ability to effectively manage many accounts simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Promotes Neighbors Financial Services and coordinates seminars for member participation. Maintains a working knowledge of all services and operations of the credit union. Qualified applicants must possess strong leadership skills, creativity, strategic thinking and the ability to create and manage a budget in excess of $600k. Annual salary: $55,000-$69,000 DOE. Minimum Qualifications: Five years Marketing experience required. College degree required.
