Neighbors FCU

Financial Literacy
 Our Commitment to Education

Originally opened in 1954 as Baton Rouge Teachers, Neighbors Federal Credit Union has always believed in the importance of education.  Our members' financial well-being is our primary concern and how well you can manage your finances hinges on your ability to stay informed.  With that in mind, we've made the commitment to providing information to help you make more sound financial decisions.

 Branch Financial Education Workshops

Every few weeks, Neighbors hosts financial education workshops at our branches.  Neighbors' Community Outreach Coordinator Ann Marie Erie covers topics such as credit, budgeting, or how to discuss finances with your children. These classes are supplemented with occasional guest speakers on subjects like check fraud and identity theft protection.
