About the Application Process
How can I apply for a job with Neighbors?
All vacancies are posted on the Careers Page of our website. The job description, salary, and minimum qualifications will be listed in the ad. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for employment will click on the link at the end of the ad. The application must be completed in its entirety, including a complete resume.
Do I need to apply for each position I am interested in or will applying once work for all other postings as well?
You must apply online for each and every job posting you are interested in. Even if the same position posts again in 6 months, you must apply again for it.
What will happen after I apply?
You will receive an auto-generated email stating that we received your application. If the hiring manager is interested in your application, a credit worthiness check will first be performed. Upon successful results of the credit worthiness check, you will be sent an emailed invitation inviting you in for pre- employment testing.
What happens if I do not pass the credit worthiness check?
If your results do not meet the minimum qualifications for employment, you will receive an adverse action letter at your home address from ADP (Automatic Data Processing). ADP will also provide you with a copy of the report we received and instructions on how to dispute the report should it contain any errors.
When you pull my credit worthiness, are you pulling my credit score also?
When you pull my credit worthiness, will it show as an inquiry on my credit report?
What is the pre-employment testing process?
The pre-employment test is administered through the Human Resources Department. All candidates must test in-office at the Perkins Road location. The test is a general skills, basic knowledge test and should take approximately 1 hour to complete. Some positions do require an additional test. This test is for sales and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. There are no materials provided to study beforehand.
Which positions require testing?
All positions in the Credit Union require pre-employment testing.
When will I get the results of my test?
You will get your results within 5 business days or as soon as possible.
What will happen if I do not pass the test?
If your scores did not meet the minimum qualifications, you will not be able to move to the interview round. A member of the Human Resources Department will notify you of this information.
Can I retake the test?

You will move to the interview round with the hiring manager. The hiring manger will call you personally to arrange an interview appointment.
What will happen if the hiring manager decides to hire another candidate?
The hiring manger will call you personally to inform you of his/her decision.
What will happen if the hiring manager decides to hire me?
The hiring manger will call you personally to extend the offer. You will then discuss salary and start date. Upon your acceptance, a member of the Human Resources Department will call you to arrange a one-on-one orientation to discuss benefits and new hire paperwork.
What background checks are performed for new hires?
The HR Department will conduct a criminal background check, bond ability check and drug test.
Will prescriptions drugs affect the results of my drug test?
