11/13/2015Neighbors Federal Credit Union President and CEO Kathi Gill, CCUE Announces Retirement - Steve E. Webb, Jr. Named Successor

Neighbors Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge announced today that Kathi Gill, CCUE is retiring as President/CEO after 34 plus years of service effective December 1st, 2015.  Working her way through the ranks as a teller, branch manager, and Executive Vice President, Kathi became CEO in 2008.  Since that time, Neighbors has more than doubled in asset size to over $735 million, she has presided over three mergers, added six new branch locations, mortgage lending and business services offices, two school branches , new mobile technology and most recently, a core conversion.

  Neighbors Federal Credit Union is proud to present the Choose A Charity Contest! Neighbors is encouraging everyone in the Baton Rouge area to take control of making a difference in the local community. Any local non-profit registered as a 501(c)(3) and owned or operated in the Baton Rouge area is invited to enter for a chance to win $10,000 toward their organization. 
9/17/2015 Annual Clay Shoot for Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center Scheduled for March 2016

The Neighbors Capital Area Foundation will host its 3rd Annual Clays for Kids Sporting Clay Tournament benefitting the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center (BRCAC) on March 11, 2016 at Riverside Lodge Club in Denham Springs.  The Neighbors Capital Area Foundation is an initiative by Neighbors Federal Credit Union to provide support for community service organizations in Baton Rouge.

Neighbors is thrilled to announce that in the month of April, 54 youth share accounts were opened, 701 members under the age of 18 made deposits and $273,359.49 was deposited into youth accounts.
