Audio Response is an automated system, which offers the ability to access your accounts via touch tone phone. This system is a free service and allows you to check account balances, transfer funds and make loan payments.

Automatic Transfers and Direct Pay
Automatic transfer allows you to transfer money periodically from one Neighbors FCU account to another, including loans. You can transfer funds to multiple accounts any day you choose.
Direct Pay offers members the convenience of making loan payments from one financial institution to another. You can transfer funds from your Neighbors checking or savings account to pay a loan at another financial institution, or originate payments from a checking or savings at account at another institution to pay your Neighbors loan.

Neighbors now offers you coin-counting machines at several branch locations. Bring in all your coins without the hassle of rolling them. The machine counts your change and disperses a receipt which can be cashed at the teller window or deposited into your account. All this for just a 3% fee for members; 10% for non-members. Courtesy Pay and Overdraft Protection
Courtesy Pay is an optional account service which allows for the clearing of checks, electronic items (ACH) and debit card transactions when funds aren't available in your checking account for a $32 fee per item. Courtesy Pay is available to all Checking accounts in good standing. You may OPT-IN for Courtesy Pay by contacting us at 225-819-2178.
Overdraft Protection can help you avoid overdraft fees by transferring funds from your savings account or line of credit in order to cover items that would otherwise overdraw your checking account. Transfers from the share account are made dollar for dollar for each item presented. After the third transfer, a $3.00 fee will be charged on each subsequent transfer in that month. Transfers from Accessline loans are made in $100 increments with a $4 charge per transfer.
Direct Deposit is one of the easiest and safest ways to deposit your paycheck or other recurring deposits. The funds are deposited to your Neighbors FCU account electronically and are available to you immediately. In order to begin direct deposit with your employer, you will need to provide your employer's payroll department with the routing and transit number below along with your 9 or 13 digit account number. Government Deposits - If you'd like to directly deposit a government check like Social Security or Federal Pensions you can call Social Security toll-free at 1-800-772-1213 and ask to sign up for direct deposit, or visit www.godirect.org. You will need the routing and transit number for Neighbors Federal Credit Union.

Safe Deposit Boxes
The perfect place to keep your important documents and valuables is a safe deposit box at Neighbors FCU. Safe deposit boxes are available at several of our branches (subject to availability).
For safe deposit boxes that were opened prior to November 1, 2015 - the fee will be deducted from your savings account annually on January 15. For safe deposit boxes that were opened on/after November 1, 2015 - the fee will be deducted from your savings account on the anniversary date of the account opening Ex: A new box is opened February 12, 2016. After the initial fee, the yearly fee will be deducted on February 12 of each year thereafter.

Electronic wire transfers are an easy and inexpensive way to send or receive funds. They may be sent to domestic (United States) and foreign financial institutions at fees much lower than most financial institutions charge.
To wire money into your Neighbors FCU account from another financial institution, the following information needs to be provided to the financial institution you are wiring money from:

To process a wire from your Neighbors FCU account to another financial institution, the following is required:
- A signed Wire Transfer Agreement (WTA) must be on file with Neighbors FCU prior to wiring the money. Visit one of our branches to complete the Wire Transfer Agreement form.
- Contact the other financial institution for their wire instructions.
- Once all required documents are in place either visit a branch or contact one of our Member Service Representatives at (225)819-2178 to begin the wiring process.
