Neighbors FCU Announces NIL Partnership with Brian Thomas Jr.

Neighbors Federal Credit Union, the Baton Rouge area’s largest credit union, is proud to announce a partnership with freshman wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Thomas, a native of Walker, LA and graduate of Walker High School, is one of the most talked-about college freshman wide receivers in Baton Rouge this fall.

“Brian has an amazing athletic career ahead of him,” says Neighbors FCU VP of Marketing Brett Reynolds. “But what really stood out to me was the reputation of great character that preceded him. He’s a great young man from a great family and we’re proud to have him associated with the Neighbors brand.”

What makes this NIL partnership even more special is the long-standing relationship Neighbors FCU has had with the Thomas family as members of the credit union.

“The Thomases have been members of the credit union for years,” says Neighbors FCU President & CEO Steve Webb. “He’s from a school and community with which we have deep ties. It’s only natural we collaborate with one of our members in an exciting new era for amateur athletes.”

Walker High School and Neighbors FCU have a long-established relationship, partnering in ventures including an on-campus branch and involvement in the Mascot Checking Program. This program awards the school a monetary donation with every swipe of a Mascot debit card and to date the credit union has distributed over $200,000 to partner schools since its inception.

Neighbors FCU will be debuting new digital and video content featuring Brian Thomas Jr. in the coming weeks. For the latest, follow the Neighbors Federal Credit Union Facebook page or on Instagram (@NeighborsFCU).
