Responsible for assisting the CFO and VP Treasury with development of the Board Packet and Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) package; perform interest rate risk modeling, forecasting, cost/benefit analysis and peer group reporting; develop product cost and profitability information; and assist with preparation of annual budget. Maintain quality service standards set by the organization. The nature of the work requires a high degree of confidentiality.
Responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end close process. Process wire transfers and prepare monthly reconciliation reports. Maintain a working knowledge of all services and operations of the credit union. Ensure accurate and timely recording of the credit union’s financial information.
Responsible for correctly and promptly taking all direct side loan applications via phone and web. Attempt to retain existing members and acquire new members by developing personalized banking relationships and by offering superior service and lending expertise. Support a sales and service culture by consistently, effectively, and efficiently offering credit union lending products along with ancillary products.
Responsible for processing, funding, and quality control of loan applications. Ensure that proper loan information is collected to maintain acceptable credit standards and to conform to credit union policy.
