Who We Are

In March of 1954, five teachers joined forces and chartered Baton Rouge Teachers Federal Credit Union with only $150 in a shoe box. The first office was built in 1965 on South Foster and housed one full-time and two part-time employees.

Over 60 years later that credit union has grown to over 75,000 members and 1 billion dollars in assets and is still run on the same ideas of good service and fair rates.
